An overview of patients and caregivers

A syndicated research program utilizes clinical, pharmaceutical, direct and indirect economic data, and workplace-based data to offer robust, rich, and unique analysis and conclusions about the burden of individual diseases.

A robust analysis of workplace direct and indirect components

Little objective information has been published on the impact of these conditions and their treatments from a US workforce perspective:

  • The patient
  • The employee-patient
  • The employee-caregivers of spouse patients

US employers bear the majority of direct medical and drug costs incurred by employees and covered spouses and dependents who have these conditions. However, the impact is not limited to direct medical and drug costs. In addition, employers also bear the costs of absenteeism, presenteeism, and disability through a variety of employer-sponsored absence benefit plans.

Leveraging the unique analysis and conclusions about the burden of individual diseases, grouped by common elements, only found in Workpartners Research Reference Database (RRDb)
